Winemaking at Peltier starts in the vineyard. For four generations, the Schatz family has been growing winegrapes in the Lodi Appellation and they’ve continuously evolved their farming practices to produce the highest quality fruit. Peltier’s wine style highlights the natural characteristics of each variety and vineyard personality, as the winemaking team guides the wine through fermentation and aging with as little intervention as possible. As winemakers and growers, we believe that flavor should come from the vineyard.
